What is CCDC 9A?
CCDC 9A is the Statutory Declaration of Progress Payment Distribution: a standard Canadian Construction Documents Committee form contractors typically submit with a progress draw. The template includes a checkpoint column to track whether it's been filed for each draw; it doesn't reproduce the CCDC form itself, which is licensed separately.
Does this replace software for progress billing?
For a single project or two, a spreadsheet works fine. Once you're tracking holdback release dates and multiple draws across several projects, that is what Vinclo's progress billing does for you.
